The trailer for BLACKPINK's Deadline world tour was enough to light up social media yesterday

We are now just over a week away from the return of BLACKPINK with the start of their Deadline world tour in Seoul on July 5. It has been nearly three years since the group released new music and there have been rumours that at least a new single will arrive in time for the tour. As of today, no official word on that yet. But there are visuals.

A trailer for the tour dropped yesterday and since Blinks have been so starved for fresh content featuring Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rosé all together, this was enough to light up social media.

As usual, and as expected, these looks are FIRE. The hair, the makeup, the fits – in addition to the music – this is what they’re known for. And I want more, not just more looks but also more THEM.

Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rosé have spent most of their time over the last three years working on their solo projects, and they’ve been successful, establishing established careers of their own independent of BLACKPINK. But there’s always been the sense that on the group side, there is unfinished business. Fans have long been frustrated (with their label YG) that even though they debuted in 2016, they’ve only released two full albums. Which really says something about the magic these four artists have when they’re together – that they’ve been able to ascend to these heights with such a light catalogue.

I can’t wait to see and hopefully hear what they’ve been working on. I can’t wait to just, like, SEE them all in one shot, standing side by side, strong posing, and hair tossing. That seems to be the shot that they’re still withholding. In stories yesterday they also posted a shot of just their hands, all four forming a clover.
