Jennifer Lopez is expected in Toronto tonight for the world premiere of Unstoppable. Sarah’s review of this film is coming on Monday and even though JLo is involved, and we all know the noise that accompanies her, especially lately, we should definitely also be talking about Jharrel Jerome. He’s receiving the TIFF Tribute Award for his performance in this film based on Anthony Roble’s true story. He was born without his right leg and went on to become an elite wrestler: JLo plays Anthony’s mother.

This is Jharrel’s first major performance since he won the Emmy for Lead Actor for his work in When They See Us. And if you have seen that series, you should be well aware of his talents. He’s incredibly gifted and I’m pretty sure he f-cking crushes it in Unstoppable. If that’s the case, it’ll be interesting to see whether or not they can generate enough momentum for a possible award season run. At this point it looks like a longshot but also, that’s what festivals can do for a film and a performance. TIFF has a good track record in this regard. And Amazon is said to be campaigning this film in several categories. Which brings us back to JLo.

The last time JLo was at TIFF it was for Hustlers. And coming out of that premiere here, there was buzz. Ultimately, though she was nominated for a Golden Globe the Oscar nomination never came – and I continue to stand by my opinion that I think she was robbed! JLo was forthcoming about her disappointment, she did not hide it in her documentary, Halftime.

But can you imagine? Imagine right now, now that Bennifer V2.0 has come to an end, if she actually gets an Oscar nomination (supporting) for a performance in a film that Ben Affleck produced? Come on, even if you don’t f-ck with her, for the sake of gossip, AMAZING gossip, don’t we want to Gossip Genie this?!

That’s the Bennifer professional entanglement, but of course there are ongoing personal entanglements. Today will be the first time since the un-Bennifering that JLo will be in front of the media. Ben is not expected but Matt Damon is on the list. As she said on Instagram, she is back in bloom and unbothered. So we are no doubt about to see a serve tonight. Can’t wait to see what she brings to the carpet and what the vibe will be between her and Matt.

As for where things stand between her and Ben…

Another PEOPLE exclusive was just published last night and it has to do with the $60 million-plus property they bought together and are trying to sell. The place is huge, too huge, and the word on it since the divorce speculation started is that he was the one who hated it and ended up moving out (without telling her). Since JLo is so extra, it was assumed that she was the one who forced him into the place, she was the one driving that purchase, she was the one whose appetite for real estate excess is as gluttonous as her appetite for attention.

JLo is here to say f-ck that. Per PEOPLE’s source:

"The $68 million mansion was Ben’s idea and a major compromise for her. She agreed to it because of its spacious layout, accommodating both their families, a gym and a pickleball court, office space, plus it has two private entrances.”

Apparently the place is not actually to her specific tastes as the source adds that, "She loves the romantic, Spanish, European vibe,” and the home they bought was super modern.

Another source, however, is telling PEOPLE that Ben wasn’t into the home because of its location, not all that close to his kids and he had to deal with traffic every day. But the point is, she’s refusing to wear it, just as she has, in these last two weeks, refused to wear all the sh-tty labels and blame that have been assigned to her all summer. This is JLo putting it out there that she is not the problem, or at least not the only problem.
