The first word that popped in my head when I saw these new photos of Halle Berry in this liquid metallic body-con dress that should be thanking her that she’s wearing it is… mercy. Have f-cking mercy. What is this bitch trying to do to us?! I’m going to need to check on Emily, our site manager, to make sure she’s OK because I’m worried she might not recover from this image. There was a universe in which Leighton Meester and Adam Brody could have been one of the internet’s favourite couples. And maybe they are… but it’s a secret corner of the internet that does not need a lot of shine, content to know and love what they know and love, without validation, which tracks with the spirit of this couple. I will love her forever because Blair Waldorf is the reason Gossip Girl became a cultural force and she is criminally undercredited for. Adam Brody is not stupid though. That list I keep making of celebrities who are universally beloved, totally unpolarising, and we’re all on board? That includes Kathryn Hahn. Agatha All Along is coming. I love this interview she did with Alan Siegel for The Ringer, especially right off the top when she shares three insights about witches. It’s been a while since we’ve had an update on The Joy Luck Club 2. The movie was announced almost two years ago and since then it’s been quiet, which is not unusual for projects in development. The latest? There’s a script! Joy Luck for multi-generations! Which I assume means that the Gen Z Asian characters in this movie will be learning how to play mahjong! (Next Shark)
