Who do you think is in Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone’s mom group chat? To be fair, theirs isn’t technically a mom group because they were friends well before they became mothers. But just as a comparison to the self-inflicted mom group scandal that Ashley Tisdale started, who are the other famous mothers in a thread with JLaw and Emma? Off the top of my head I’m guessing Adele, Cameron Diaz, and maybe Carey Mulligan? Amy Schumer’s a question mark though. Jen and Amy have been friends a long time, Emma’s known to have spent time with Amy too. But both Jen and Emma manage their celebrity a lot differently than Amy – for example, neither one has a public social media presence while Amy, well, you know. Is there a correlation between how a celebrity manages their fame and how they manage their famous friendships? Also Jen is a gossip, unapologetically. For sure her group chat is popping off about the Ashley Tisdale mom group.

Both Jennifer and Emma will be at the Golden Globes on Sunday as nominees for best actress, though in different categories, for their respective performances in Die My Love and Bugonia. JLaw’s chances at an Oscar nomination are slimmer though while Emma remains in the race for a best actress nomination but not a favourite. Many Oscar prognosticators still have Emma in the top five for rankings because of her Oscar record – the Academy obviously loves her, and while she hasn’t been the most aggressive campaigner, she’s definitely been out there on the circuit.

Emma is one of the 16 artists featured in W Magazine’s Best Performances issue released yesterday.

During the interview she discusses a project that she and JLaw are finally working on together – they’re co-producing the Miss Piggy movie, with Cole Escala writing. Here is her response to whether or not she’s playing Miss Piggy. As IF. Emma’s answer is going viral because, well, it is correct. In fact, she could have gone harder.

Here’s JLaw in New York this morning. I imagine she’ll be heading to LA soon for the event on Sunday where she’ll for sure be in Dior by Jonathan Anderson. She’s never looked better in Dior since he took over so I have high expectations for her look.
