The Horniest Olympians
New week, same thirst…
You didn’t actually think the Heated Rivalry hype was over, did you?
Canada is actually the main character right now – in politics, in climate (hello snow), in pop culture, as Crave’s original series continues to be a conversation. I just read an article over at the Daily Beast about how “the wine moms have finally gone gaga for Heated Rivalry”, LOL. Also yesterday, New York mayor Zoran Mamdani connected the storm, promoted the public library, and Heated Rivalry, all in one breath. A man who understands intersectional messaging!
The Toronto Star published a piece on Heated Rivalry this weekend. Needless to say, everyone wants more Heated Rivalry, and wondering about the timeline for new seasons. Justin Stockman, who greenlit the show at Crave, said that, “We’re going to see what’s feasible. If [Jacob] can find a way to make the source material work in a way that gets us something sooner or something special, I’m sure he will. I would love to have this back for the holidays next year, but that likely is not going to happen. We can’t rush the process. We won’t be able to repeat the magic if we push him."
This is good news, and it’s good news because if the stakeholders are patient, and caring about not overpushing, it means that they do not want to compromise story for speed. And this is also what Jacob Tierney said in the article too, explaining that, “This isn’t what any of us expected and I’m endlessly grateful for it. But it’s the kind of noise that I have to drown out to make the next two seasons. I have to keep trusting myself. I have to keep doing what I did in the first place. That’s the way you’re going to get a good season two. It’s important for me to go back to what I love about this and remember the story I’m telling."
In the meantime, Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie aren’t in any rush to get back to Hollanov, not when they’re being invited everywhere. They were announced as Olympic torchbearers last week and it happened on the weekend in northern Italy.
Here’s my question – whooooooo is running the Olympic social media accounts? These. Captions. Are. Horny!
Our pookies have arrived at the cottage. 🥺❤️@milanocortina26 #Olympics #HeatedRivalry #HudsonWilliams #ConnorStorrie pic.twitter.com/MEtyL0RWNL
