Will Aaron Pierre be sent back to The Jennifer Hudson Show to promote season four of The Morning Show?

It’s been just over a month since Aaron Pierre had the internet in shambles after his appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show. Specifically the way he went down the “spirit tunnel”.

I know you haven’t forgotten… but I also know you won’t complain about seeing it again.

Aaron was at the American Black Film Festival on Monday where he received the Rising Star Award. And he was asked about his viral moment, and the fact that the JHud show had to disable the comments on his video because, well, we were a mess.

If you can pull yourself together, you will note that Aaron no longer has any facial hair. This was popping on socials yesterday too – and yes, people were horny about it, but there’s a nerdier reason for the interest too. Clean shaven Aaron puts him that much closer to his next role: Green Lantern. It was announced last fall that Aaron has been cast in HBO’s new series, Lanterns, and will play John Stewart alongside Kyle Chandler’s Hal Jordan.

I have no idea about comic books and definitely not the DCU. I keep confusing Green Lantern with Green Hornet and which one Ryan Reynolds was in and which one Seth Rogen did. But this is not important. What’s important is that Aaron Pierre is on his way. He also has a role in season four of The Morning Show as an “acclaimed visual artist who moves through the circles of the New York elite”. The release date for season four has yet to be announced but he’s already filmed his part and his schedule going forward will be focused on Lanterns. Until and if he’s added to the publicity plans for The Morning Show. At this point, even if they didn’t have him originally as part of their marketing, if you were the producers (Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon), wouldn’t you try to at least send him back to The Jennifer Hudson Show to talk about The Morning Show? That is, obviously, if the Lanterns shoot will give him the day off.
