Anya Taylor-Joy is a Tiffany ambassador, and it’s the holiday season—because Christmas creep means “the holidays” begin on November 1—which means it’s time for Tiffany holiday stuff.

They’ve already started their “Love is a gift” campaign featuring ATJ.

So here’s Anya Taylor-Joy at a Tiffany event yesterday in New York, dressed in winter white. I think consensus is that ATJ’s style hasn’t been as good as it was when Law Roach was styling her, but I really like this coat. I like the classic trench belt mixed with the modern high-cowl neck. It suits ATJ. That said, it’s hardly her most adventurous look. I’m sure we’ll be seeing more of ATJ + Tiffany over the next couple of months.

We’ll also be seeing her next year as The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is due in April. It’s the sequel to 2023’s monster hit, The Super Mario Bros. Movie. A trailer dropped yesterday. It’s certainly a movie with Mario and Luigi in it:

ATJ is back voicing Princess Peach, returning with Chris Pratt, Charlie Day, Keegan Michael-Key, and Jack Black. The new movie also boasts Benny Safdie as Bowser Jr (because everyone must secure a bag), and Brie Larson as Princess Rosalina.

I genuinely wonder if they can build off the success of Mario, or if that film was a little bit lightning in a bottle. Like no one expected Jack Black’s Princess Peach song to go viral on TikTok, but it did and that, in turn, fed the film’s box office. Between this and Minecraft, though, it’s almost like the video game movies aimed at kids are primed to become “meme movies”. Maybe tiny Bowser will be the ticket to a fresh set of memes. My favorite remains Lumalee, the nihilistic not-star that wished for the sweet release of death. I will always love a macabre character thrust into the middle of a kids’ movie (see also: Toy Story 4’s Forky).

So, with an ATJ holiday season in front of us, followed by a spring press tour next year, do we think ATJ is getting back to a higher standard of styling, or will she keep coasting on the fumes of Law Roach’s reign?
