TMZ is reporting that Blake Lively’s Betty Booze is winding down, which is not a surprise. Its non-alcoholic brand Betty Buzz hasn’t posted on Instagram since April. Then there’s Blake Brown Beauty, which is posting very generic content without Blake. A celebrity brand can’t really flourish without the celebrity being able to promote it.

Ryan Reynolds owns a marketing company so there’s no doubt that there are brand discussions happening – do you just wipe the slate clean, or try to save the hair care line? There’s just so much baggage to carry for a brand that never really got off the ground.

Jennifer Lawrence was photographed wearing SKIMS with Kim Kardashian and I would bet that next up will be Kim promoting  mes° beauty.

Off Campus’s season two release date is a surprise because it’s not that long of break – it is set for April 2027. That means a year between seasons, which is a network TV schedule. Smart pacing and a good way to capitalize on the momentum before people move on to the next big show. But I can’t talk about Off Campus without getting distracted by Heated Rivalry – did you know Belmont Cameli has the same groomer as Hudson Williams? Like Chris McMillan pioneered The Rachel, Aika Flores is the go-to for Heartthrob Hair.

Mindy Kaling is joining the cast for season three of Running Point. This show is an easy watch, charming cast, very Netflix (you can watch it while you load the dishwasher). She’ll play the CEO of a gambling app, a layered storyline considering how dominant the sports betting conversation is.

Ariana Grande wedding number two when? I think of her fondly as the Millennial JLo but she’s actually only been married once.

Gwyneth Paltrow shows off GWYN’s fall collection and it’s very… grey. There’s something so uptight about this line and it’s not just because of Gwyneth. It’s missing some secret sauce. It doesn’t have the glam of Victoria Beckham or the confident point of view of The Row.
