Leah Remini is filming The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and I’m tempering my expectations because this kind of casting doesn’t always work. I didn’t think Denise Richards was a fit for the show, but Lisa Rinna was.

Real Housewives is its own genre, so if someone can’t conform to that type of “reality” and tries to pull celebrity rank over the cast, it messes with the chemistry.

The new Dancing With the Stars cast has been announced and it includes two dancers, Jenna Dewan and Harry Shum Jr. Three if you count Julia Stiles in Save the Last Dance! Isn’t this putting the thumb on the scale a bit? I know there’s an audience vote but Jenna and Harry are actual pros, Jenna toured with Janet Jackson and Harry has been a dancer for JLo and Mariah Carey. This seems like a massive advantage.

What do you think Roger Federer’s kids are asking for here? Because this is tween body language for begging. Fries from the concession stand or Roblox.

Jay Shetty spoke with Jada Pinkett Smith for Interview and I quite like the photo shoot.  Shetty’s past as a monk has been called into question but most of that has died down and he is now one of the top-earning podcasts in the world. And like any savvy media personality, he’s built a persona but his personal life is pretty private. I think there are some changes there, to be announced soon maybe.

Robert Pattinson is everywhere right now and broke down his filming schedule for GQ (essentially, he has spent a few years jumping from project to project). It’s interesting that he’s seen as just a quirky dude who wanders into projects when he has a superhero franchise, is working with the biggest directors and is doing Oscar-bait films. Yes he’s creatively driven but you don’t work non-stop for years by chance, that takes ambition and planning.
