The Japanese Grand Prix is happening on Sunday, Lewis Hamilton was already in Tokyo this weekend to prepare. Before we get into the romance gossip, let’s talk about the sport. Because after a sh-tty 2025, Ferrari is off to a much better start in 2026.

As expected, it’s Mercedes leading the way so far, but Charles Leclerc and Lewis have alternated finishing in third and fourth respectively in the first two races of the season – with Lewis getting on the podium in Shanghai, not super notable when you consider his career overall but remember, he didn’t podium at all last year so seeing him up there a couple of weeks ago was encouraging. He has acknowledged that the way he was feeling at the end of 2025 (defeated, uncertain) is behind him, and by all appearances, Lewis seems refreshed and re-energised. Many F1 and commentators have noted that the Lewis we’re seeing lately is a familiar figure: dominant, optimistic, aggressive, and he looks like he’s having fun. That said, in Formula 1, the situation can change quickly – so it’ll be interesting to see if the momentum he’s been riding carries over in Japan.

And then… well… there’s what’s happening in his personal life. People have been waiting to see when Kim Kardashian would show up in the paddock. Not yet, but she has been seen with Lewis in Tokyo.

But not just Khloe, also one of Kim’s kids, Saint.

I mean we knew it before, because he was hanging out with the family, but that’s more confirmation that Lewis is all the way in with the Kardashian-Jenners. Remains to be seen whether or not Kim and her entourage stay until the weekend or if this was a convenient trip to make before Lewis is more preoccupied at work. But with the Met Gala just six weeks away (a day after the Miami GP), and both Lewis and Kim are regulars there now, I’m curious to see whether or not they show up together – and if that’ll be where they make their red carpet debut.
