Intro for March 25, 2025
Dear Gossips,
Vittoria Ceretti covers the new issue of Vogue France – which, in itself, is not a surprise. At 26 she’s one of the top models of her generation, has been for almost a decade.
It’s the interview that’s making headlines because of her “rare comments” about Leonardo DiCaprio. Ironic because one of the comments she makes about him is that:
"As soon as you're in a relationship with someone who has a larger following than you, you become 'girlfriend of'—or 'boyfriend of,' for that matter. And that can be extremely annoying. Suddenly, people are talking about you as so-and-so's girlfriend who was so-and-so's ex. So it's not nice to think that you can't love whoever you want, because of the labels people need to stick on you."
But this is precisely why her cover story with Vogue France is getting more play in entertainment outlets than it would have otherwise.
Vittoria and Leo have been together since 2023, nearly two years this summer. He’s now 50 years old and it appears he’s made a slight concession about his age limits because Vittoria will turn 27 in June. Interestingly she’s asked by Vogue France what life she dreams for herself in ten years – third slide in the carousel below. She says that she wants her life to be calm, bathed in green, not travelling too much, accompanied by children and dogs in the sun.
Children?
Leonardo DiCaprio’s girlfriends often outgrow him because, well, people grow. Most people don’t want to do the same sh-t in their 30s that they’ve been doing in their 20s, and so on as the decades pass. It takes real commitment to be the guy who is still as excited about the clubs and the parties and the yachts at 50 as he was when he was 20.
Attached – Leo out for dinner with friends in LA last night.
Yours in gossip,
Lainey
