Is soda like ketchup in that we don’t need a fancy small batch artisanal version and are very happy with the mass market version? I don’t know, I’m not a soda connoisseur, all I know is I love a fountain soda with a ton of ice. I’ll never understand the “no ice” – sure you get more pop, but it’s warm (a cardinal sin). 

Will you try Ben Stiller’s new soda? (It sounds like Justin Theroux doing the voice-over with him.)

After a brief outing that piqued our gossip interest, Justin Trudeau and Katy Perry haven’t been seen in public together. Did it cool off? Was it ever really a thing, or just a dinner? Or is it still going, just behind closed doors? I’ll admit I’m still curious. 

This is such a Wednesday Addams outfit (complimentary). 

Is there anything more nostalgic than a handwritten letter? From Stevie Nicks, who weaves a story about being bored at the recording studio into a clever and warm letter to her family. And she’s a “birthday month” person. At 24, everyone is. 

There’s a fake Super Bowl announcement floating around featuring Adele, which we know is BS but it got me thinking… where is she? It’s been a minute. Not unusual for the way she moves but I wonder if she will pop up before the end of the year.

How far did Sam Smith walk in these Vivienne Westwood boots - come on. These are ankle twisters at best. No doubt Sam can handle them but for the less experienced, ankle breakers.

Michael Che is always trolling on Instagram and most of it doesn’t land, which is the point. I guess.

Comedians are a staple on the Vegas strip and so are music artist residencies. Right now, Caesars is alternating between acts like Rod Stewart and comedians like Jerry Seinfeld. Dolly Parton, JLo, Alanis Morissette and Kelly Clarkson are also on the books. I wonder if these short-term residencies are more lucrative than the long-term ones they were doing. Or, if the demand for the same artist for months on end just isn’t there anymore.
