Harry Styles kicked off his Madison Square Garden residency yesterday, honouring Dolly Parton during the show, telling the audience that “I wanna say a proper ‘Thank You’ to all the musicians over the years that’ve inspired me. Dolly, we love you, thank you so much.”
And then as “I Will Always Love You” played over the speakers (he did not sing along), he encouraged everyone to dance along.
Zoë Kravitz was in the crowd, seen dancing in the stands instead of in a suite. At least this doesn’t look to me like she’s in a suite.
Both were seen separately earlier in the day out for a walk. Harry actually walked to the concert, he’s been walking there every day for soundcheck. It’s better than sitting in traffic. And Zoë was out running errands in a Barney’s tee that looks like it’s in pristine condition seeing that the store closed six years ago. I just don’t understand how she can go more than a couple blocks in those shoes. If they were on my feet that’s an accident waiting to happen.

Speaking of Emmys, voting ends today and Variety now has an anonymous voter article that is, as usual, hilarious and grumpy. Like this quote from a member of the music branch of the Television Academy: “I wish there was a better way to do all these award nominations. If you have friends in this industry, you get your name on the list — even if you’ve made a piece of sh-t.” That’s how it works at all the award shows. (Variety)
