Zoë Kravitz nails spring dressing
Harry Styles is hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend. Zoë Kravitz lives in New York, will she turn up at Studio 8H with Harry? Zoë was out in Brooklyn yesterday in a great trench coat. This is perfect spring layering. You can never be dressed right in spring, but a good trench gets you to a lot of places in this f-ckass weather yoyo we’re in. Bonus points if it’s waterproof to get you through impromptu downpours.
Zoë stays busy in her own right, and she has a movie coming out later this year directed by David Leitch called How to Rob a Bank. It co-stars Nicholas Hoult, Anna Sawai, Pete Davidson, Christian Slater, and John C. Reilly. I am INSANELY into this cast, not even Pete Davidson can bring me down. The film is about a heist crew that maybe uses social media too much. And of course, Leitch is a filmmaker known for his stunt spectacles, so we’re probably in for some amazing stunt work, too.
One film we know Zoë won’t be in, though, is Matt Reeves’ The Batman: Part II. I don’t mind so much because Catwoman isn’t tied to Batman’s hip, they’re together and apart and together and apart, etc etc. The only thing that makes me nervous is given the merger of it all, and a feeling I can’t shake that James Gunn kind of wishes Matt Reeves’ Batman would go away—so that Gunn’s version can be the only Batman standing—I wonder if we’ll ever see Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle again. I wish I was more optimistic, but I think there is a really good chance she never gets to revisit that character. And that would be a bummer, because she is a great Catwoman.
