While Chris Evans spent the weekend repping Marvel at Disney’s D23, his Civil War adversary, Robert Downey Jr, was where he’s been for most of the summer – in the Hamptons, with his family, and one of his closest friends, Gwyneth Paltrow. As I mentioned last week, initial reports after Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux’s wedding included RDJ, who supposedly made a speech. Howard Stern was the one who clarified that RDJ wasn’t there.

In other G news, the UK Sun claimed the other day that G and Beyonce aren’t speaking right now because G is mad at B for being in Madonna’s video. (Source) It’s great gossip, and I want to believe it too. But you know what the problem is? The Sun is saying that it all went down after Gwyneth introduced Beyonce to Madonna in February. Like 6 months ago February?
Please. Any basic gossip knows that G and M haven’t been tight for years. Why would anyone believe she’d matchmake for Madonna in 2015? This timeline undermines the story.
