Not because it’s vapid and frivolous. Not because it’s all shoes and pretty clothes. Of course all that, yes. But mostly it’s the relationship between these two women. The tension between these two women. The struggle, the respect, the compromise…
It’s a fascinating portrayal of Anna the Wintour and Grace the genius. And in many ways how one cannot exist without the other. And to have the opportunity to watch two very important, very influential women AT WORK at the top of their game – The September Issue could have been 5 hours long as far as I’m concerned.
And oh my god the photographs…
