Jennifer Aniston turned 45 yesterday. She was reportedly in LA. Her fiancé Justin Theroux was in New York shooting his TV show. Is that problem? Is 45 a milestone? Jacek and I have spent birthdays apart. His birthday is a particularly tricky time because the Juno Awards always happen around his birthday and for years, I was assigned to go. So I’m not sure their separation for the occasion warrants speculation about their relationship. Also, she apparently wants you to stop speculating about her relationship because it’s anti-feminist.

True.
And yet, in her case, does she or does she not actively leverage her marital status whenever there’s something to move and sell? Did she or did she not stage photos of her engagement ring? Click here for a refresher. Does she or does she not tease us with a pregnancy every few months or so?
Is that all on us? Or can we put some of that on her too?
PS. Theroux went to a fragrance shoppe yesterday. I hope it wasn’t a gift for her. Because she has her own line of cologne.
