Tina Fey and Amy Poehler were at the ELLE Women in Hollywood event last night. And that reminds me… We’re inside 3 months until the Golden Globe Awards. Tina and Amy are returning as hosts. You remember what happened when they hosted last year? Last year during their opening monologue, they took a shot at George Clooney. Full Story

I think this might be the best she’s ever looked, overall. It’s ready to party, this dress, but it doesn’t look hard to wear. It especially doesn’t say “woe to getting older/let’s make friends with Spanx”. I am so DONE with that look. You know how Beyonce at first was a thing, before she became a religion, because she was allowed to have body parts? I want the next thing to be that someone’s allowed to have a tummy. Full Story
That’s the title of Amy Poehler’s book to be released in October. And yesterday on The Today Show, they released the cover. You like it? It’s so…neon 80s. It’s a memoir with a tweak. It will be illustrated. It might be like a diary. It will address friendship, love, parenting, and more.
It WILL be funny.
There is no doubt.
And you’ll buy one for yourself and another for your best friend?
Message to all my friends: this is what I’m getting you for Halloween.
Yours in gossip,
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler can do no wrong. They’re responsible for two of the funniest TV shows of the last decade, they’ve made the Golden Globes actually watchable, and over the years they’ve become America’s favorite big sisters. But one thing they haven’t done is deliver a really great movie. Full Story

There's a war going on between Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and George Clooney. It started at the Golden Globes. One of their best jokes was about Clooney and Gravity -- how he'd rather float off into space and die than talk to a woman his own age. The entire ballroom erupted. They loved it. And George took it well. Full Story

They say a little fear is good. That you should do one thing a day that scares you. That it’s important to feel a little of that edge-of-the-diving-board thing every day. I don’t feel like Amy and Tina had that particular fear while hosting the Golden Globes this year. I mean, they are good friends sharing a scary gig so right there, that’s less pressure. Full Story
Let’s start with Amy Poehler. I love that Amy Poehler isn’t too big to still be doing sh-t like this – running around NYC in a goofy costume crashing into people with a camera and singing Christmas carols all while generally being funny and awesome and spontaneous. She’s the BEST. Full Story
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Holidays? Sure. But… award season! The Golden Globe nominations will be announced on Thursday. In other words, the Tina and Amy Show. Tina and Amy will make coming back to work in January tolerable, promise. Read Full Intro

Amy Poehler went for a walk in New York with her boyfriend Nick Kroll yesterday. They’ve been dating at least 6 months now. Did you know he had such smart style? Look at that shirt underneath his sweater – sharp! In the evening, Amy and Nick were both at the Gotham Film Awards where Amy spent a lot of time with Rashida Jones which makes me happy and warm inside. Full Story

I received the following text last night, verbatim: “Tina Fay [sic] is on PBS. I just love her dress.” She was one of the presenters helping to give the Mark Twain Prize for Humor to Carol Burnett. (This happened in October but the event aired on PBS last night.) Before we get to Tina: 1. Full Story
I mean, it’s a no-brainer. Isn’t it? Tina and Amy have done the impossible – they’ve secured hosting spots for the Golden Globes for the next two years in a row. They were awesome, everyone agreed. They were awesome because they A) Didn’t pull any punches – they left everything on the floor; and B) Were equal opportunity offenders – Taylor Swift jokes weren’t the only ones that landed (they’re just the ones that everyone remembers some 10 months later); and finally, and most importantly… C) They didn’t f*cking care if you liked it.
