Gwyneth as the Modern Icon
Here’s Gwyneth Paltrow arriving at LAX yesterday after a short trip to London earlier this week -- click here for a refresher. G evidently wanted to make it back in time to enjoy Halloween with her kids. What does a GOOP Halloween look like? Do they give out candy in rich neighbourhoods or is it Marc Jacobs keychains? We’re having a candy-giving dilemma right now. I keep saying to Jacek, you have to give a whole handful, you can’t just give two small candy bars at a time, cheap ass. And we live in a high traffic kid neighbourhood. I don’t want to be known as the sh-t house that sucks for candy-giving. Because I was that kind of judgy tricker-or-treater.
In other G news, and kinda Halloween themed, Max Factor just launched their Modern Icon campaign with her face paying tribute to memorable beauty looks from the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s. They’re starting with G inspired by Farrah Fawcett here:
Upcoming beauty inspirations include Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, Brigitte Bardot… and Madonna.
Gwyneth as Madonna?
Did she have a choice in the matter? You’d think she would. And if she did and accepted that choice anyway, what do you imagine she might be playing at?
