So much pretty sexy

David Cronenberg’s A Dangerous Method screened at the London Film Festival tonight with all three of the film’s headliners in attendance looking very pretty and or very sexy and in the case of Michael Fassbender, obviously, both. Keira’s dress on Keira is magnificent. I wonder if Keira’s dress on anyone else produces the same results. Full Story

Michael Fassbender and Steve McQueen presented Shame at the London Film Festival today. Shame, as you know, is their second collaboration and word is they will work together for a third time on 12 Years A Slave, the true story of Solomon Northrup with Chiwetel Ejiofor in the lead role. That’s quite a combination, those three. Full Story
Fassy & Brando?

He’s already been called the next Daniel Day Lewis. Now some people are saying that Shame, starring Michael Fassbender as a sex addict, is like Bernardo Bertolucci’s Last Tango in Paris starring Marlon Brando. I was 14 when I first saw that film. It f-cked me up for a good month about sex and relationships. Full Story
Setting up Fassy

Michael Fassbender was in New York yesterday with David Cronenberg to promote A Dangerous Method. Meanwhile his on/off girlfriend Zoe Kravitz was photographed, also in New York, with Penn Badgley, holding hands and kissing. I didn't feel like spending money on those photos. Sorry. You can seem there here Full Story
Lonely Boy fills in for Fassy...again?
Zoe Kravitz and Michael Fassbender were together. Then in the summer, after the release of X-Men: First Class, she was seen around New York with Penn Badgley. It was thought that she and Fassy were over. But at TIFF, I saw them out together on consecutive nights, not just hanging out, but like obviously a real situation. Full Story
Fassy Robocop?

What? You’re not tired of all the remakes yet? Next up: Robocop. Apparently the script is ready. They’re not thinking about casting. And the director, Jose Padilha, says he’d like to talk to Michael Fassbender. That, obviously, doesn’t mean sh-t in terms of actual confirmation but he’s at the top of the list for the dude who’s making the movie which obviously means consideration is on the table. Full Story
Hot Fassy by the water
Check out Michael Fassbender at a photo call for Shame at the San Sebastian Film Festival today. He is really hustling it for this movie, having decided, obviously, as Sarah from Cinesnark noted the other day -click here for a refresher - to focus most of his campaign energies towards this film for his best chance at an Oscar nomination. Fassy & Zoe
Too bad she doesn’t spell her name Salinger style, right? Let’s start with why he skipped the TIFF gala premiere of A Dangerous Method. It was announced on Friday that he wasn’t coming to Toronto for “undisclosed reasons”. Then he showed up in Venice to collect his Best Actor Award for Shame. Full Story
Fassbender & the VitaminWater rooftop
Don’t be mad at me but I’ve run out of time now and can’t write up the Fassy Zoey article from last night. They were at the CAA SmartWater party. Together. And OMG, it’s hot and crazy at the same time. But more on that later. To make up for how much I suck, please find attached some great photos of Michael Fassbender signing autographs for fans at his hotel yesterday and at the Shame presser today. Full Story
Fassbender at home, briefly
These photos of Michael Fassbender were taken on his way out of Venice after promoting A Dangerous Method and Shame. That red bag he's carrying on his shoulder is killing me. Not sure what it is or what's in it but I'm assuming it's one of the standard festival bags they always give you at these things when you get credentialed. Full Story
New week, more Fassbender
You horny broads seemed to enjoy it last week. And since Michael Fassbender was in Venice for Shame, in addition to David Cronenberg’s A Dangerous Method, more photos are available to start the new week. They’re saying he gives a searing performance in Shame directed by Steve McQueen. They’re saying his portrayal of a sex addict shows the promise of an actor who may be the heir to. Full Story
Double Fassbender Friday
As promised earlier, here are the gala photos from the A Dangerous Method carpet tonight in Venice. The film is, um, the opposite of Madonna’s, getting really, really strong reviews. I already mentioned how badly I want to see it, right? Keira Knightley in particular is earning a lot of praise for her performance and her name is now showing up on some early prediction sheets to make a return back to the Oscars as a nominee. Cronenberg, Keira, Cassel, Viggo, and Fassbender
Did you see A History of Violence? How about Eastern Promises? Good things happen when David Cronenberg and Viggo Mortensen make movies together. This time it’s A Dangerous Method. The photo call happened in Venice earlier today. Cronenberg was joined by his cast. Because of the time difference, the premiere photos will likely hit the agencies in the next couple of hours.
