Sit DOWN, Scott Eastwood
I’ve said it before but not for a while because he’s not a regular here so let’s repeat it:
I’m not a believer. Not my jam.
He is for some of you though. When those pictures came out a couple of years ago in Town & Country, I think even Sarah paid attention for about five minutes. And then…well…click here. That ended the conversation.
You’ll recall there was all kinds of speculation that Eastwood was being considered for Christian Grey. And now he’s saying that he was the one who turned it down:
"They had asked me to come in and read and test for it. But they had no script. I won't do a movie where there is no script. I am not going to get locked in. And they wanted full frontal nudity. There were some things about it that were not for me. It's not a bad thing. The movie made a ton of money. It's been a success. It just wasn’t for me. It was not something I wanted to do. I just didn't enter the running. It was like, 'Okay, thank you.'"
Says the guy who’s starring in the next NICHOLAS SPARKS MOVIE…!?!?!
I’m not trying to defend Fifty Shades but for this guy to come in with his “standards of work quality” like he’s Daniel Day-Lewis is a bit rich, non?
Which isn’t exactly like Sean Young dressing up like Catwoman but it’s not far from it either.
Watch this trailer and tell me if this guy has any business judging “script readiness”.
