In honour of the Emmys, Vogue posted this throwback photo. A good choice, right? Sarah Jessica Parker “liked” it. When this photo was taken in 1999, HBO was the be-all and end-all of prestige TV. Sex and the City was provocative and a cause for panic (like the Who Needs a Husband? Time Magazine cover Full Story

Violence is never the answer. Violence is not funny. Before I address the Cardi B and Nicki Minaj situation, I want to first make it clear that I don’t think that most physical altercations are laughing matters and that when it comes to rap beefs, we know how serious it can be when things get physical. Full Story

I don’t think Nicki Minaj or Cardi B wanted to be sharing headlines this week. In a week that should be monumental for them both, individually, Nicki Minaj and Cardi B are entangled in a predictable but still frustrating storyline. I don’t know much about Spain’s royal family. I’m sure you’ll fill in the gaps for me after this post. The reason I’m writing about the Spanish royal family is because they just gave us some serious Girl Sh-t. Like mother-in-law and daughter-in-law Girl Sh-t. Which is world class Girl Sh-t. Full Story

Jennifer Lawrence has always been good for a one-liner. She’s quick-witted and unfiltered. Those two things have always been a part of a Jennifer Lawrence press tour. So, when J.Law started promoting Red Sparrow, I knew we’d be in for a few headline-grabbing cracks. Let’s start with Jennifer inserting herself into the Taylor Swift/Bad Blood vortex. Full Story

Tessa Thompson has been at the forefront of the Time’s Up movement since it was announced on January 1st. She stood alongside other actresses to share the initiative’s message. She encouraged her followers to donate. She gave clear and intelligent interviews defending their decision to wear black, answering the critics who asked why not just boycott the Globes altogether Full Story
