A new installment of White Girl Sh-t was released last night. Gwyneth Paltrow made an appearance at the Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit yesterday for an interview. This just a few days after it was announced that she’d found a new CEO for GOOP: Lisa Gersh, formerly the CEO and President of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia who left that job after less than a year, amid rumours that she and Martha couldn’t agree on a vision.

As you recall, the last time we heard from Martha about Gwyneth, she was telling her to “be quiet” and to stay in her lane. Click here for a refresher. So, basically, only Martha can bake bread, and anyone else who comes up with a new bread recipe should get out of the f-cking kitchen.

Gwyneth is staying in the kitchen. When asked about Martha’s response, and clearly with the support of the interviewer, who implies that Martha was being a petty bitch in her comments, Gwyneth first took the opportunity to acknowledge the haters. She knows she’s hated. And, you know, Gwyneth has always been hated. At this point, you have to think that she enjoys being hated.

As long as she’s being hated by the right people. Like, if you can’t afford designer salt, you might as well go ahead and hate her because, really, what use does she have for your love? And besides, while you’re busy hating her, she’s hanging out with Sheryl Sandberg in the exclusive Lean In club:

She also spent some time with Warren Buffett. All of these people can afford designer salt.

So, to bring it back to Martha, how does G feel about Martha’s criticism?

“If I’m really honest, I’m so psyched that she sees us as competition. I really am.”

It’s the right answer.

In sports they call it “bulletin board material”. You never, ever want to be caught talking sh-t about another team or another athlete because it fuels them, it gives them added motivation, it makes them hungry – hungrier TO BEAT YOU.

Rookie mistake, Martha.
