Gwyneth Paltrow was in New York last night for opening night of The Country House on Broadway to support her mother, Blythe Danner. Variety called Danner “effortlessly lovely and irresistibly charismatic” in their review of the play. They did not mention whether or not she needed prompting for her lines which, I’m guessing, means she knew her lines. Then again, why would you doubt that? Blythe Danner is a stage legend.
As for her daughter, as you know, all the talk around her right now involves Martin Lawrence – has she met Jennifer, has Jennifer met the kids, is she a f-cking bitch who wants to keep her kids away from Jennifer, she can’t believe Chris actually left her because she thought she was the Ultimate Wife…
