Magic Mike vs Terminator this weekend at the box office – which way are you going? Here are some interesting comparisons:
Magic Mike XXL was made for just under $15 million while Terminator Genisys cost $155 million. For Channing Tatum, then, it’s really not that much pressure compared to the other guy. According to Deadline, last night at screenings of Magic Mike XXL across the US “96% of Magic Mike XXL‘s audience was comprised of females — that’s the biggest female share ever”. And of that number, 34% of fans were there for Channing Tatum. I can understand this. He’s one of the reasons I’ll be going at some point too. Because I do enjoy, so much, watching him dance. And also, I just like him so much. Another reason? Magic Mike is one of those movies that you don’t have to worry about missing any dialogue during the hootin’ and the hollerin’. It’s a form of relaxation isn’t it? Listening to people requires so much more energy.
