Just before the American Music Awards last weekend, Taylor Swift was photographed wearing a The 1975 t-shirt. She and Selena Gomez and some other friends went to see the band’s show at the Palladium. That wasn’t a secret. She posted about it on Instagram. Here’s the photo:

You KNOW Taylor. You know her not-so-subtle messages. But if we’re talking messages, Matty Healy, lead singer of The 1975, may have been the first to send one. He actually wore her 1989 album cover t-shirt during one of his shows before she wore his:
Matty was asked about how they knew each other during an interview with Shazam Top 20 recently. Apparently they met in October:
"We exchanged numbers. Let's see what happens, she's a sensation. I wouldn't say no.”
When pressed about the possibility of them becoming the next “new celebrity hot couple”, Matty’s response:
"You're calling that, are you? Let's just see what happens.”
So…is it happening?
Well, I received an email tip on Friday night from a reader called Sara:
“We're in chattanooga heading to the 1975 concert and we saw taylor in an suv. one of her body guards came outta starbucks and she was waiting in the car. she was in the back. we caught a glimpse when her bodyguard opened the door. my friend was like i think that's taylor in that suv. she saw her throught the windshield. so we went to the side and kinda waited and then we saw her.”
Right now, it’s all just speculation and circumstantial evidence…but all this speculation and circumstantial evidence totally fits her game style. I believe it. Matty Healy is everything Taylor would want: The 1975 is about to explode; he’s hot. (The whole band is hot.); and…he’s bad. Like dirty bad. How can she resist? F-ck it, I wouldn’t be able to resist. Look at him. Have you seen him in the video for Robbers? (I’ve attached below.) He’s basically the guy in her video for I Knew You Were Trouble.
Taylor is now in London preparing for the Victoria’s Secret fashion show. She hung out with some of the models last night.
