It’s not often that we see pictures of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson holding hands. Most of the time, when the paps are around, they’d rather book it into a trash can than give up the shot. Last night there were paps from several pap agencies shooting them when they hit up a Halloween party. And... here they are, holding hands. He has forgiven her. They are back together. Twilight 5 opens on November 16.
Today, Stewart was at the Beverly Hills Hotel with Simon Baker to announce on behalf of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association that Jodie Foster is this year’s recipient of the Cecil B DeMille Award to be presented at the Golden Globe Awards. Am curious to see who ends up honouring Foster during the telecast. Sometimes the selection of the presenter is hilariously awkward. Like, do you remember Ben Affleck presenting to Harrison Ford (who asked him to) in 2002? Sometimes the presenter is amazingly annoying. Do you remember Gwyneth Paltrow presenting to Sir Anthony Hopkins? Me, you know I love G. And she only pronounced the hard T because that’s how he says his name, OK!?! Proper!
So who will it be for Jodie Foster?
If it’s Kristen Stewart, I look forward to seeing her deliver a poised, professional, sincere tribute. I would hope that she’d be more prepared for it than she was during her Balenciaga interview. But...imagine if it’s Mel Gibson? Come on. Come ON. If you only tuned in for 5 minutes, that would be the 5 minutes you’d make sure to watch, right? Come ON.
