Last night Leonardo DiCaprio, still in Cannes, hit up the De Grisogono party at the Eden Roc. The De Grisogono party is one of the more hilarious festival events for its high low factor. There’s Leo who, obviously, is high. And then they let in people like Victoria Silvstedt who, obviously, is not high.
Tonight -- or now, because of the time difference -- is the Sydney premiere of The Great Gatsby. I’m also attaching photos of Carey Mulligan arriving there in advance of the event. Baz Luhrmann is from Sydney. The film was shot in Sydney. Leo was supposed to be in Sydney to celebrate the movie. But... apparently there was a “schedule change”:
"Unfortunately, I am unable to return to Sydney for the film's Australian premiere due to a schedule change."
Well, he’s busy macking on models. That counts as scheduling, doesn’t it?
But, but, but...maybe he has meetings in the day time? Sure. Let’s go with that. Although I just saw some new shots of him -- too expensive to buy -- lounging shirtless on a yacht so...
They have a different way of taking meetings during Cannes, right?
