Letitia Wright was nominated for an Emmy for Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie for her work in Black Mirror. She lost and she did not present so the only Letitia we got was during the red carpet show. Gina Rodriquez was the opposite. She was not nominated (an injustice) but she did present and she missed the red carpet because she was stuck in traffic. Full Story

That feels unfair. Letitia Wright is 24 years old. She’s older than both Gigi and Bella Hadid and yet, she still feels like a little sister always. I was shipping Letitia Wright and Sebastian Stan for a hot second until Sarah yelled at me, as she does often, for not knowing that Shuri is supposed to be 16 years old (ish) in the comics and therefore, that’s gross. Full Story

Sarah saw Black Panther last night. Her first e-mail to me after her screening was, of course, about Okoye. I’ve BEEN telling y’all about Danai Gurira’s Okoye. People are going to lose their sh-t over Okoye. They are going to be demanding a standalone Okoye film. The same can be said for Letitia Wright’s Shuri or Lupita Nyong’o’s Nakia. Full Story
