E! News first reported it yesterday – that Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger were on a break again. PEOPLE however came in late last night to confirm that it’s over, totally over, with a source telling the magazine that:
"It's not a break. It's done."
Something about being in different places in life. She’s focused on her career and he’s in school. Which I was wondering about back in November – click here for a refresher. This guy is in college. That’s a very particular experience. And she’s, well, she’s a pop star. Also a very particular experience. Where do those worlds meet? Again, life for Miley has been like, oh, you want to go to Miami? Yeah, let’s just go to Paris. For Patrick, he’s like, yeah, um, I can’t miss my psych lecture tomorrow. He also can’t miss Spring Break.
This, I guess, is an argument for why celebrities always inter-date. No one else can maintain their schedules. Or have NO schedule to be maintained.
Anyway, how’s Miley dealing with the breakup? Well, the breakup news broke on 420. So she spent what seemed like the entire day celebrating. Seriously go look at her Instagram. There are at least a dozen fist-pumping posts for 420. This one is my favourite:
