HBO has still not officially announced a premiere date for Game of Thrones. We know it’s next year. We *think* it’s probably late spring when it always used to premiere with the exception of last season which aired in the summer. But this isn’t yet confirmed. I wonder if they’re just waiting to confirm with a trailer that has real footage. Full Story

The James Bond casting carousel continues to revolve, even though Daniel Craig is locked into one more appearance as 007 and we don’t need a new Bond for at least 3-4 years, AT LEAST. Still, speculation runs rampant, and the latest rumor is that Bond producer Barbara Broccoli is set to offer the post-Craig role to Richard Madden, aka Robb Stark. Full Story

Since I’ve been reviewing movies on LaineyGossip, I don’t think you guys have seen me enthusiastically like a movie, so for the first time, here is me enthusiastically liking a movie, no complaints. Cinderella is adorable, a genuinely enjoyable and entertaining family film. The only negative thing I have to say about it is that it isn’t as empowering as the Drew Barrymore classic, Ever After. Full Story

Garrett Hedlund was so handsome last night at Critics’ Choice. He, of course, was with Team Unbroken and presented with Michelle Monaghan. I always, always, always wonder when Angelina’s talking to him whether or not she looks at him and sees a young Brad Pitt. The first trailer for Kenneth Branagh’s live-action Cinderella halfway sold me on the project. It doesn’t look terrible, and some of the fantasy elements look cool, even if I will always and forever think that Cinderella’s should-be iconic ball gown is a mall prom dress nightmare (sorry, Lainey, the shoes don’t look much better). Full Story
