Aaron Paul is the director of a caviar company (????) and this is a whole thing now. Caviar is an ancient rich person food but it waxes and wanes in pop culture popularity; right now, Real Housewives are all about serving it on camera, often on a baked potato. 

I eat it a couple of times a year (Christmas Eve and on my Mother’s Day breakfast) and I know caviar bumps are to preserve the taste but I’d need to wash my hands before and then wouldn’t the soap impact it? I prefer lightly salted Lays. And every time I eat it, I think of Meg Ryan telling Tom Hanks, “That caviar is a garnish!”

Like Lainey, I really like the Vanity Fair Hollywood Issue, it feels fresh and fun and like an article that will hold up when we look back in 10 years (much like this 2003 cover). And it got me thinking on who isn’t on this cover. No, I’m not talking about Jacob Elordi, but the men in this age range who had a massive star push and never quite hit. 

Do you think any Hollywood exec would have predicted audiences would go feral for Jonathan Bailey over Henry Cavill? Or Jeremy Allen White over Scott Eastwood? You can’t make a star in a boardroom. If you could, Gal Gadot would be Angelina Jolie.

Fox News Media are being a bunch of weirdos by licensing voice content of famous actors and using it for a podcast they had no involvement in. Kristen Bell’s name is included in this and per Rolling Stone, the audio is from another project that was recorded 15 years ago. Maybe it’s legally sound but it’s ethically grimy (ironically, it’s a Bible podcast). And here’s what I don’t understand about Fox New Media doing this; if “go woke, go broke” is their thing, why do they need these Hollywood heathens to voice their podcast? You know, since Fox News constantly targets lefty celebrities, why do they use their work. Are Kid Rock and Candace Cameron Bure not available?
