Angelina Jolie was one of the Eternals cast members dispatched to Italy to promote the movie this weekend. If you recall, following the Hollywood premiere last week, and reports that the cast had been exposed to COVID, several events were switched over from in-person to virtual. Given that Angelina and Gemma Chan, Kit Harington, and Richard Madden were able to travel, I’m guessing that that’s not a concern anymore. 

 

Anyway, Angelina was not alone for the trip. Zahara and Shiloh joined their mother for some sightseeing – they were seen at the Spanish steps – and then showed up hand-in-hand on the red carpet…serving looks! Just like they did last week. 

Let’s start with Angelina because this silver Versace is one of the most showstopping dresses we’ve seen on her in a while. It’s custom, it’s classic Donatella, but look at the details, the ruching and the draping, and it’s almost better from the back.

In keeping with Angelina’s goal to dress more sustainably, this piece was made out of heritage metal mesh…

 

…and one day, not too far from now, perhaps, one of her children might repurpose it the way we saw Zahara wear Angelina’s Elie Saab last week. 

As for Zahara, she looks lovely again in white with gold straps while Shiloh went for a darker dress, with fun kicks…and makeup! Also, does she look even taller than she did seven days ago?! 

We’re not done with Angelina yet though, because at the photo call today, she came slinky again, this time in a black, fitted wet-look dress that is bringing the heat. Angelina is feeling it on this press tour – every look has been sensational. She’s working now with Jason Bolden, who also styles Cynthia Erivo, Oscar Isaac, Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade, Taraji P Henson, Yara Shahidi, Alicia Keys, and more. This is a new-ish partnership. 

 

And you know what I like about this? White celebrities don’t have to limit themselves to being styled by white stylists. And Black stylists shouldn’t only have Black celebrities on their client list. Jason Bolden now has one of the biggest celebrities on his list. As he said, he’s just getting started. Can’t wait to see more.
