On social media, perhaps the most highly anticipated show today at Paris Haute Couture Week is the Valentino presentation. For two reasons: BTS’s Suga, the house’s latest DI.VAs ambassador, joining Lewis Hamilton, will be in attendance. I wrote last week that just the possibility of Lewis and Suga doing cool DI.VAs sh-t together is f-cking me up. So if we get a shot of them today, there might be a meltdown.
But you know who always creates a meltdown when she’s at fashion week? Zendaya. And Zendaya fronted multiple campaigns for Valentino last year. So the internet has been waiting for her in Paris. And wondering if she’s even going to be in Paris. Zendaya has kept a very, VERY low profile for a while now. She and Tom Holland were seen together around Christmas but since then she’s been pretty much underground. She skipped the Golden Globes, didn’t bother to show up to collect her award. Same goes for the Critics Choice Awards. She’s been nominated for a SAG Award but who knows whether or not she’ll attend. As for Paris, there have been no sightings. If she’s there she hasn’t been spotted.
Law Roach, however, is in Paris so that’s the one positive sign that she could, possibly, make an appearance.
Zendaya’s affiliation with Valentino is relatively recent. Anne Hathaway, however, has had a longstanding relationship with the house. And here she is in Paris, arriving with her husband Adam Shulman, ahead of the show this afternoon, in the perfect travel outfit. Gorgeous coat, excellent jeans, boots on point, and a cute little hat. Annie in Valentino is always a serve. It’s for sure going to be a moment later when she makes her entrance.
