The Fug Girls are right about the genius idea for the WNBA All-Star format. The players are bringing big game and… big style! But of course they are. The men have been using the tunnel as a runway for over a decade now and the women, well, there’s even more potential for a catwalk tunnel when the women are in the building. 

My personal favourite outfit here is Arike Ogunbowale, who scored a record 34 points – so much swagger with the jacket and the long shorts/short pants and yes, the socks and the shoes. I know this is a generational thing, and I’m supposed to be of the older generation who is trying to stay with low ankle low profile socks but, sorry, I switched to crew socks a couple of years ago and haven’t looked back. They become part of the look – and the designs are so good, with all kinds of stripe options or patterns, it’s such a joy to look down at my feet and see my socks. (GoFugYourself)

I LOOOOOVE Halle Berry’s perspective on Catwoman and the fact that it was a flop but, as she said, she kept it moving. Because in her lived experience, well, she’s come back from worse. And showing up to collect her Razzie and delivering a great speech – I think that’s actually helped Catwoman in the sense that it’s not mocked as much as it could have been; because Halle was in on it too.
