As Seen On Social Media: Emma Stone’s earrings, Lainey’s Simone Miller dress

Even when Emma Stone is outside, she’s not really outside. I don’t think I’ve ever heard a gossipy story about her. I do get requests for her style and the downside is, she’s not on social media and not linking to her outfits. She has a very close relationship with Louis Vuitton and wears it a lot, but not all the time. 

This specific request came in for the earrings she was wearing in the NYT Cooking video with Jesse Plemons. This was too difficult to catch – I couldn’t get a good look at the earrings on video and I think she’s wearing two of the same. She also wears custom jewelry quite a bit. That said! The main candidates are Louis Vuitton and a few jewellers her stylist Petra Flannery tagged, namely Sophia Buhai and Jessica McCormack (these Carmela Gold Spaghetti Hoops are a candidate).  Sorry I couldn’t pin it down!

Lainey’s Simone Miller dress

A request landed in my inbox for a Lainey look (not the first time!), a Simone Miller sweater dress. I love it and I found it on sale at Anthropologie (just be wary of duty); a few sizes are sold out but there’s a decent stock (PS…use code ANTHRO30 on most of their site from 11/20-11/23 for 30% off).  It’s still not hitting the budget request of under $100 and unfortunately, the chunky sweater/pleated skirt combo doesn’t have a lot of dupes although Lainey did a whole article about sweater dresses here.

However, you can mesh the two with your own version: I’d go with a very oversized men’s sweater (sold out but alerts offered) and a simple pleated skirt in white.  Lainey has also worn this Urban Outfitters sweater dress which is also great – Black Friday is coming up so keep an eye out for sales, this could drop to $100.

I’m bookending Emmas today with a timely request for a great winter knit. The issue I have with this is I’m on a shopping break for November/December and am committed to not buying anything until 2026, and this poses a problem for me because I LOVE THIS SWEATER. It’s J. Crew. The version Emma is wearing is sold out (you can see it here) but there’s a similar men’s sweater on pre-order. There’s a whole rollneck section, very 90s.
