Ooooh Ashley Tisdale dropped a little nugget for The Cut, writing about breaking up with her “toxic” mom group. In December of 2024, PEOPLE ran a story about Hilary Duff’s mom group which included Mandy Moore, Meghan Trainor and… Ashley Tisdale.

Early 2026 tea involving legacy teen-to-adult stars, this is a good omen for gossip.

This is the most Monday to ever Monday and in alignment with the Larry David Accord, we are past Happy New Year greetings. We are just in it now.

In other news that dropped over the holiday, Jennifer Meyer announced she is pregnant. She is at the nexus of a lot of LA social circles, this baby shower is going to be better attended than the Oscars.

Last year, I side-eyed some gossip about her and Toby Maguire finalizing their divorce, as some people attributed it to him wanting to get out of spousal support or child support, very low vibration thinking. They are super tight and wanted to finalize paperwork for obvious reasons.

I need someone who has actually watched the Chevy Chase doc to comment on it because, and I say this as a lover of pop culture, why are we wringing our hands over an old man yelling at clouds. Sure, he’s a generational asshole, but has Chevy Chase really done anything that shifted culture? He also became famous in a very different ecosystem. He wouldn’t last a minute in the asylum that raises this generation of SNL stars. On the flip side there’s Dan Aykroyd, prick whisperer.

Jeremy Renner never stop posting like a LinkedIn post.

New Year’s resolutions aren’t for me but I do love a prediction; for 2026 we will get two big stars, Vince Staples and Sherry Cola. They are ascending but I think this is the year they both skyrocket. (Vince Staples has Instagram but there are no posts and the bio reads “Leave me alone” which, fair.)

Officially, we can’t start 2026 without acknowledging the biggest breakout of 2025, our emotional support gay hockey show, Heated Rivalry. If you are from Vancouver or familiar with Vancouver it is very important to note that Hudson worked at the Old Spaghetti Factory in Gastown. The city needs to put a plaque there asap.
