Barry Keoghan went sleeveless at the Academy Museum Gala last night which is considered a risk for some but I think we’ve learned by now that fashion risks are what we’ve come to expect from Barry so this isn’t all that surprising but it is very sexy and that’s all I’m going to say about that because, as I recently mentioned, the way I feel about Barry is the way some of you feel about Paul Mescal and if I talk about it too much it will get wayyyy out of control and as it is, it’s barely under control.

Let’s gossip instead about Barry’s love life. He’s been single since the summer when it was reported that he and his girlfriend of three years, Alyson Kierans, broke up because he’s too much of a player. This weekend he was seen with Sabrina Carpenter, they had dinner together

Some celebrity hookups come out of left field, you never would have expected it. Barry and Sabrina? Yep, makes total sense to me. Barry’s two previous girlfriend are physically similar to Sabrina – he has a type (which clearly isn’t an Asian woman so this is not helping my fantasy, LOL). They’re both just coming into their fame, both just at the cusp of being household names. Both have an edge, a don’t give a f-ckness about them. And… there’s the Taylor Swift factor.

Barry was one on the outskirts of the Taylor Swift Universe a few years ago when he showed up to a party in Dublin for The Favourite, co-starring Joe Alwyn, and Taylor was there and Barry and his gf at the time hung out with Joe and Taylor that night. Sabrina, as we know, is tight with Taylor. So if this continues between her and Barry, he might find himself once again in Taylor’s orbit. And that would result in another level of internet breaking because Sabrina is big with Gen Z and Barry’s becoming an internet boyfriend, and when you add that to the already explosive virality that Taylor brings to any given situation with who she hangs out with and this new era of squad-ing and friendships, you can imagine the meltdown that will result if, say, Barry finds himself at an American football game, conveniently during his Oscar campaign.
