The rumour for days has been that there would be some kind of announcement today. It is 10am ET at the time of this writing, all my alerts are on… and so far, nothing. Well, not nothing. But not a confirmation of anything either. Still, we have some new developments.

Let’s start with Levi’s – or, should we say, “Levii’s Jeans”, which is the title of her new song feat. Post Malone on COWBOY CARTER. The company actually changed their logo on social media and added in the extra “i” with the bee emoji in their bio.

Yesterday Levi’s stocks experienced a major bump. Per Business Insider:

"I would just say that denim is having a moment and the Levi's brand is having a powerful moment around the world," Levi Strauss CEO Michelle Gass said on the company's earnings call.

The company said the introduction of new products like denim skirts and non-denim pants helped boost sales. The added exposure to the company driven by Beyoncé's new "Levii's Jeans" song probably isn't hurting sales trends either.

"One of the things that really is significant about the Levi's brand and we place a lot of emphasis and investment is making sure that Levi's brand remains in the center of culture. And I don't think there's any better evidence or proof point than having someone like Beyoncé, who is a culture shaper, to actually name a song after us," Gass said in response to an analyst question on whether Beyoncé's new song has led to a sales boost.

Our Queen has been a benefit to Levi’s but what means more to her is that she’s been boosting Black country artists and their music. Spotify yesterday put up billboards to highlight the impact that Beyoncé has had on Brittney Spencer, Tanner Adell, Reyna Roberts, Tiera Kennedy, Willie Jones, and Shaboozey – flip through the carousel:

Earlier this week, Beyoncé covered W Magazine’s first digital issue. W just this morning released part ii of their editorial. Beyoncé’s in Louis Vuitton and, seriously, the fashion she’s been serving in the COWBOY CARTER era has been sickening…and it’s only just started!

Now… let’s talk about the new website, BEENCOUNTRY.com. As noted yesterday we don’t yet know what the purpose of this new page is. The site launched with five photos. It was updated yesterday with four more.

5…4…

If the next update is 3, then we know it’s a countdown…right? I mean, I don’t want to presume to know her mind but, like, is that what we’re doing here? If it’s a countdown, and tonight at some point the next update has 3 photos, and then tomorrow we get down to 2, and then Sunday there’s just 1 photo, that does in fact take us to Monday and the solar eclipse. And I wrote yesterday about how some fans think that she might actually eclipse the f-cking eclipse with some kind of announcement which…

OK, stop. Don’t want to get too far ahead. Just keep an eye out for whatever the next update is and how many new images show up on the page.

And what images they might be. Because as you can see from the last update, with 4 shots, one of them is a screenshot of Beyoncé with Kelly Rowland, LaTavia Roberson, and LeToya Luckett. In other words, the four women on this album cover:

That album, The Writing’s On The Wall, turns 25 this summer.

Does that mean something? Does it mean nothing?!

What is BEEN COUNTRY!? Is it some kind of major visual drop? Are we getting visuals? Are we getting a reunion? WHAT IS HAPPENING on Monday?

Is Beyoncé going to take out the sun AND the moon?!
