The British tabloids and the royal rota are clearly anti-Prince Harry and invested in supporting the King and Prince William. But their methods are… confusing. Because how does it actually HELP the King and William to publish stories about how Harry has upstaged them by his surprise appearance at the Daily Mail trial? If the King can be upstaged, what does it say about the King?! (Cele|bitchy)
So now there are people who want to ban a Dolly Parton and Miley Cyrus song because the children will be corrupted by a message of love and acceptance, and also Michelangelo’s David because… master sculptors are bad? Like I know there are a lot of things to be afraid of in this world. But a Dolly Parton song and a piece of art, I will never understand. (Dlisted)
Interviewing Teyana Taylor was my first work assignment this week at the junket for A Thousand and One. This is her first leading role and the film came out of Sundance with a lot of buzz and a Grand Jury Prize. Her performance in this film is … extraordinary. I want to see her in everything now, playing any and all characters. It’s the beginning of the Teyana Taylor, leading lady era. Which means… more fashion. Teyana is always serving – and she’s serving here with accessories. I LOVE this headpiece. (Go Fug Yourself)
Elon Musk and Twitter really want to get everyone paying for their blue check – it’s so desperado now that they’re f-cking around with the For You page and what gets served to you through your For You algorithm. Which… my For You is already f-cked. I just opened up Twitter and for whatever reason they decided I needed to see video of passengers panicking on a plane because smoke was coming through the cabin. WTF in all my BTS and Beyoncé and Chinese drama series scrolling made them think my kink was plane disasters?! (Pajiba)
It's not just celebrities who release divorce announcements. This is happening with people who aren’t that famous too. (The Cut)
