I am very, very, VERY into this Thom Browne Mary Poppins aesthetic and I would wear almost every single one of these looks. And definitely most of the shoes. My favourite, I think, are the ones in the third photo, the grey and white mary-janes, what a lovely combination, and the checked oxfords in the seventh photo too. All the checkered options are great, especially when the checks are layered one on top of the other, and sometimes with tights. Maybe it’s not so much Mary Poppins than it is The Queen’s Gambit? Catherine Zeta-Jones is showing off her zucchinis, which is not a euphemism for anything, these are just zucchinis. Thick zucchinis. Which has me thinking why I don’t eat more zucchinis, because I really do love them but it’s been a couple of months since I’ve had any and they’re a really great food. Except I have never gotten into spiralling them because my brain won’t be tricked like that. You cannot tell me it’s as good as a noodle. Zucchinis are great… but they’re not noodle-great, come on now. (Dlisted)
Did you hear about the girl in Australia who tried to give herself freckles and it was a disaster? This was a TikTok hack and I feel terrible for her because this may also affect her vision. How did we go from using an eyebrow pencil, perfectly safe, and works really well considering the size of the tip of many eyebrow pencils are perfect for fake freckles, to this?! Be careful everyone! Did you know that Scarlett Johansson was on Conan O’Brien when she was a child because she was playing the part of a spelling bee champion? It’s a good sketch and she’s adorable but … I’m going to be the pedant to point out that she didn’t actually spell “apologise” wrong! In America, it’s with a “z” but it’s perfectly acceptable with an “s”! (Pajiba)
Do I want to read a lunch date with “zaddy” of the moment, Christopher Meloni? F-ck yes. (The Cut)
