Stagecoach has been in my feed and I’m tempted to call it Cowboy Coachella because of photos like this, but that probably wouldn’t be fair to Stagecoach. One thing the two festivals do have in common is an uptick in herpes prescriptions. But reading through the story, all of the data is coming from one company and I’m wondering if that company is just using the festivals to get themselves some free press.

Some celebrities that have skin care lines (like Gwyneth Paltrow) or are working with skin care lines (like Reese Witherspoon/ Elizabeth Arden) do face wash tutorials. I mean, is this necessary? I think most women figure that by the time they are 13. If they were showing us the real stuff, like what kind of extractions they get and what type of lasers are used in their facials, then I would be more interested.

I was just on instastory watching @ReeseW wash her face like 5 times, am I a perve?— Mindy Kaling (@mindykaling) April 30, 2019

Ed Westwick has created a line of journals for people who want to… write like Ed Westwick? I have no idea who would buy this.

I’ve never watched Lord of the Rings so wasn’t up on the Tolkien movie, but my question is about British actors. James McAvoy and Nicholas Hoult seem friendly, Robert Pattinson and Tom Sturridge are friends as are Andrew Garfield and Tom Sturridge, and Eddie Redmayne and Jamie Dornan. I could go on. My point is, do you think they talk sh-t about American actors? Like when they are an industry party in LA, are they making pithy remarks about the Wolf Pack?

My problematic favourite Wendi Deng has a couple of new puppies and these dogs are already richer than all of us combined.

Fred Savage is starring in a new show, What Just Happened??! With Fred Savage. It’s about an aftershow for a fictional TV series, The Flare, which is based on a fake sci-fi book, The Moon Is the Sun at Night. I’m into the TV show-within-a-TV-show concept and I also think this format, the aftershow, is in a way more relevant today than a lot of late night talk shows and ripe for parody. So I’m interested in this, and Fox is too – they’ve ordered 9 episodes.
