As is the tradition, Nicole Scherzinger has been taking photos with celebrities backstage at Sunset Boulevard in London. And she doesn’t bother to change, which is dramatic and awesome. She’s been getting very solid reviews (like this one) and the not-great reviews focus more on the directing than her performance

This morning, Sarah wrote about influencers versus critics and you have to read it to get the full scope. What strikes me is how that same kind of tension can be applied to other jobs that were once highly regarded: food critics and fashion critics. Both used to be powerful positions but now, it’s rare to find a fashion writer who will whisper a negative word about a collection because press credentials are so easily revoked. Same for food critics. One person who is still going deep on what it means to eat is Helen Rosner at the New Yorker. But that’s legacy media, which is far outnumbered by influencer accounts that order everything on the menu to make a Reel. On another note, Ramen By Ra is now on my belly list (a bucket list for food).

A little while back, Hailey Bieber said she isn’t super close with her family anymore and I can kind of see why. Clearly, she and Justin prioritize privacy and her dad is a bit of a Chatty Chad. Like why stop for a chitchat with the Daily Mail?

We’ve been watching TNT for a few seasons and now we can watch the holiday movie inspired by it (like a Law & Order episode). Christmas in the Spotlight is about a pop star and a professional football player – it’s very literal.

Ariel Winter is feeling herself in this great blue dress. As she should! She looks fantastic. The dress is by Helsa and there’s a few colours on Revolve (I won’t make you wait until next week’s As Seen On Social Media). Rihanna also wore a slinky dress, the black LaQuan Smith gown. To me, the material looks similar. It’s like the early aughts bodycon dresses got a badly needed upgrade.
