Happy Hacks Day to all who celebrate.
Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz-Beckham celebrated their anniversary online with zero likes from their family, which tracks with what TMZ reported about Brooklyn and Romeo not speaking. This family loves a party and loves to celebrate so the lack of acknowledgement, especially around the wedding that was such a touchy subject, is interesting.
And if we look outside of the family stuff, you know what else I’ve noticed? Very little interaction with Selena Gomez, who they were very tight with for a bit. They had sleepovers and hangouts, travelled together etc. Now? Nada, not even a like. Hmmmmm.
I missed this a few months back but thought of it today: US Weekly is reporting that Jordyn Blum and Dave Grohl are together and not planning to divorce. OK let’s roleplay: you are Jordyn’s friend. Are you dropping the hammer of truth or are you using kid gloves? It’s a tough one because as a friend, you would want to be in your girl’s corner but if that’s her choice, we have to meet people where they are. The urge to sh*t-talk him would be a group chat struggle.
I’ve said this before but it is outrageous what Danny McBride gets away with on The Righteous Gemstones. Kudos to HBO for allowing him to point out John Goodman’s precum, a scene so funny I had to pause the show. Everyone is talking about the 69 but this scene is even better. Edi Patterson is a rare comedic actress.
Blake Lively continues to promote Blake Brown and Blake Brown continues to not use Blake Lively in its social media marketing (for obvious reasons). The question now is how long can this brand float and hope to turn it around because the other issue is Target is not doing well either (which may have more to do with boycotts relating to it ending DEI initiatives). Overall, a real clusterf-ck.
