Mindy Kaling’s assistant is leaving to be a TV writer and this is a nice send-off, but it got me thinking, how many assistants do you think someone like Mindy Kaling has? She is a writer and producer on several shows, she acts, she has three children solo. Her schedule is beyond packed. I would think at least two, right? 

 

I would think a perk about being Mindy’s assistant is she likes nice hotels and nice meals. 

 

Some Beckham news out of TMZ that isn’t about Victoria and David. Apparently, Brooklyn and Romeo are on the outs because Romeo is dating Kim Turnbull, who once had a dalliance with Brooklyn. Allegedly, Brooklyn and Nicola are not upset with Romeo but are suspicious of Kim’s motives and refuse to be around her (which is why they skipped Victoria’s fashion show and David’s 50th). This story is so detailed that it makes me think there’s truth to it; it’s not a headline grabber but something two brothers might actually fall out over. 

 

The next question is, who took the family matter to TMZ? This is an internal rift, so someone leaked it. Why? I can’t imagine David and Victoria are happy with this getting out, they are probably pretty upset their kids aren’t speaking. 

 

Culkinheads need to listen to Sibling Revelry with Macaulay Culkin in which he talks about stepping back from acting and his relationships with his siblings, who are all creative and sound very cool. I’ve had people ask if he and Kieran are on the outs and I really don’t think so, I just think they grew up so under pressure to be the “performing siblings” and with that, there was probably all kinds of head games from their dad. Can’t fault them for not wanting to be the “acting brothers” in public. 

 

You know what’s interesting about The Pitt? EVERYTHING. No but I do have a point here: it’s as hot as The White Lotus and yet, no cast interviews or covers. Most of the press is centered around Noah Wyle. I don’t know why, we want more of them!  

 

People have strong feelings about The Beatles cast because people have strong feelings about The Beatles. I don’t care about them but we know biopics are the road to Oscar nominations, particularly when the subject is a musician, so I’m curious how they will run the campaigns.
