While the lower-tier tabloids keep running headlines about the Biebers, hoping to finally make up a story that sticks, it seems very clear he is working on new music while they  spend time in different spots (Aspen, NYC). 

They are also both balancing work with caring for a little baby. He’s just about six months, I think? Considering how ferociously they are papped, baby Jack stays undercover.

Calvin Klein’s first runway show since 2018 was highly anticipated and drew the biggest names, including Kate Moss and Christy Turlington. I liked the look of the show, very 80s corporate office with lots of shoulder pads and power suiting. Besides the fashion, there’s the gossip angle as Kendall Jenner walked the show while her ex, Bad Bunny, sat in the audience. Even on the best of terms, that would be a little anxiety-inducing. 

There’s a few comments coming up repeatedly about the big game in my algorithm  – specifically about plastic surgery for players and former players. This is targeted towards Travis Kelce and Tom Brady, with questions about the hairline (former) and jawline (latter). I have no idea, I’m not looking at either of them that closely but it’s an interesting thing to see the standards and kind of snideness that is often applied to women be applied to alpha male jock American bros. I don’t think it makes it more acceptable but it is an example of how even the blueprints for masculinity can’t escape the pressure and insensitivity of it.

Now I need to brag for a minute: I saw Travis Kelce in this outfit and I knew the vibe was off, I bet down the line against the Chiefs at a Super Bowl party and won the pot. He didn’t have his usual swagger, or a confident stride. Fashion matters. 

MGK and Megan Fox appear to be OVER over, for real. He was at the Super Bowl hanging with Cara Delevingne, which doesn’t mean necessarily mean anything as she is friends with everyone (seriously, everyone) and last I checked still dating Minke.

Natalie Portman (who has been on a tear with work) is starring in an age-gap rom-com directed by Lena Dunham. Not to sound dramatic but this might heal us. 

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are going on tour and tickets are selling out (obviously) and Amy just announced a new podcast, Good Hang. It sounds like it will be about her chatting with friends and colleagues; Bill Simmons seems super excited about it. This also means Amy will have to start promoting her work (especially if it’s a plush deal) – her Instagram is empty. Not for long. If you are an Amy Poehler fan, now is the time to follow.
