I can’t even imagine what they are saving for the Oscars. (Note from Emily: I included a couple shots of Demi in Sarah's BAFTAs piece this morning, but she is truly breathtaking in this gown so here are some more!)

This morning Sarah wrote about Conclave at the BAFTAs, picking up momentum leading to the Oscars. I had Conclave on my list today because of the table read done with Film Independent, with lots of big names including Ayo Edebiri, BJ Novak and Jason Mantzoukas. Smart of Focus Features to facilitate the event because it’s full of funny people, but not mocking the film. It’s leaning into Catholic camp.

There’s a lot of “post-split” Jessica Alba headlines but really nothing unusual to see, she is on vacation with her son (some US schools have winter break right now).

She officially filed for divorce February 7 and I think the next time we hear about it will be when papers are signed.

Addison Timlin (Jeremy Allen White’s ex) has gone somewhat Instagram official with Cooper Raif. This is no surprise – way back when, DeuxMoi had the scoop about these two as a blind (apparently they were introduced by Addison’s best friend Dakota Johnson, who worked with Raif on Cha Cha Real Smooth). The Instagram launch is hardly scandalous, considering they are now long-separated and Jeremy has had several public dalliances.

Kristen Bell is great on TV (I really enjoyed The Good Place and Nobody Wants This) and even though she and Dax Shepard really present themselves as a united brand they aren’t swooned over. I don’t know anyone who ships them, whereas her co-star Adam Brody and his wife Leighton Meester make people feral. I think part of it is access; we don’t know much about Adam and Leighton and some would argue we know too much about Kristen and Dax.

Jourdan Dunn has launched a cooking series about Jamaican food. The first dish looks so good and I know it’s not the main focus but her pixie cut is incredible.

OK the “I want to kill him with a hammer” tweet, in this context, is a compliment. It means Patrick is doing his job well.
