The other big social media story (which could be bigger than Angie, depending on who you ask) is that Taylor Swift has joined TikTok, which she announced on Twitter and Instagram. Taylor is a planner (and an executor of those plans) so if she is ready to launch this, she will have something for her fans soon. And TikTok is another place she can leave them hints to decode.

Drew Barrymore and Tom Green didn’t speak for over a decade and then reunited on her talk show – cute, right? And now he’s sending her pictures of the blue moon and she’s posting them to Instagram. More confirmation that it’s the early 2000s all over again.

This isn’t quite the 2000s, but my quick research tells me it’s 1998. But close enough. Even for Cher, who’s thrived through so many pop culture eras, is a bit nostalgic about it. 

 

Every summer, Italy and Greece are celebrity vacation hot spots. Sometimes the yachts also dock in Croatia or Spain or St. Tropez, but Italy and Greece are pretty much guaranteed to draw in the big names. It was Demi Lovato’s birthday a few days ago and they celebrated not in Europe, but on a beach in the Maldives. It looks stunning (and not just because I’m vacation starved). That is a birthday trip. 

 

I have not been keeping up with Kanye West and Drake’s Instagram feud but TMZ reported that Kanye posted a map to Drake’s house in Toronto and Drake “appears” to be laughing it off. I don’t live in Toronto so I would have to put this question to Lainey: does everyone know where Drake lives? (Lainey: Yes, everyone.) It’s not like his house would be inconspicuous. Maybe that’s why Drake isn’t fussed?

Not sure if you’ve been keeping up with the OnlyFans news (sexually explicit content will be banned as of October 1) and how it will affect sex workers. As far back as August of 2020, some were sounding the alarm about celebrities (like Bella Thorne) on the platform and what that would mean for OF content). Out of all the celebrities who’ve used OnlyFans, I haven’t seen anyone comment on the new rules. If you have, send it my way.
