Aaron Paul’s wife hiked the Grouse Grind in North Vancouver, which is no joke. I’ve lived about 20 minutes away from it my entire life and have never even attempted it because people’s stories about not being able to turn back (because it’s too hard to climb down) scare me. What if you get halfway up and have to go to the bathroom? (Lainey: if I can do it, and I’m pathetic and have a small bladder, you can do it. And I’ve done it half a dozen times.)

 

Has anyone done the Grouse Grind in Vancouver?! I did a solo hike today up the mountain and to be honest, having hiked quite a bit and not knowing much about this trail, I thought it would be a mellow day...😹...cut to almost two hours later where I am LITERALLY on my hands and knees crawling to the top during the last 10 minutes. Quite a sight to be seen. About half way up I turned around to walk back down because it was so difficult but I stopped and promised myself I would finish and I felt so proud of myself when I got to the top! It feels so good to test and push yourself when you're on the brink...but pacing yourself is just as important! If you live here or visit, Grouse Grind is a wonderful thing to do! 💪🏼
