There’s a specific clip from Millie Bobby Brown’s appearance on Call Her Daddy that is going viral, about her husband being loosey-goosey with his Amex. He grew up in abundance and she bought her parents their first house, with money she made from Stranger Things. Very different perspectives. And while they are young, I have hope for these two because he doesn’t need her for Prada socks. He’s not expecting to buy Prada socks on her dime.

It seems like she spends a lot of time with his family, including vacations, and for someone who has had to take care of her family financially, it would be nice for her to be taken care of and for that financial responsibility to not default to her. I don’t know these people, but I can’t imagine Jon Bongiovi sliding Millie a bill for her portion of the dinner bill, you know? And more than that, now that she’s an adult and isn’t protected by mandatory financial protection laws in California, I hope she is getting excellent advice.

There’s a lot to process on this week’s The White Lotus but can we talk about the hair? Michelle Monaghan’s hair is a whole character to me because as a dark brunette, I know how much work this would take. Hours and hours and thousands of dollars. This hair is RICH. And I love how both she and Leslie Bibb explained the process, the months that went into it, and the skill of the team of technicians who worked on it. This is a behind-the-scenes I want, the look into how “effortless” took so much effort.

On social media, people are just now discovering that Sam Rockwell and Leslie Bibb are longtime partners. Open the schools!

Eva Longoria had a blow out 50th birthday party in Miami with too many names to count. Eva is very busy and also very popular and has been making moves as both a producer and a philanthropist. She’s also an investor (including putting up the cash to help finish the first John Wick film) and I could see her on the track to becoming a celebrity billionaire.

The Cowboy Carter tour is, according to Live Nation, 94% sold. Which is of course a win for most artists, but not what is expected for Beyoncé. For an artist of her stature, we are used to a feeding frenzy for tickets, hours in line with a code, crashing sites, and scalpers jacking prices.

We’ve become conditioned to an insane process and insane prices for concerts. And the reality is, shows are too damn expensive. Most shows are. I don’t know why or the math behind it, but I think whatever our fandom, whatever our political spectrum, whatever our beliefs, we can all agree that Ticketmaster sucks a big one.

In “this is so stupid” news, Discovery is doing a documentary on Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. The ink isn’t even dry on the legal papers. I really dislike a rushed legal/crime documentary. What’s it going to be, stitched together clips of TikTok videos?

In other news, Glamour took to Blake’s defense and is getting lambasted. I read the article, I understand the POV and the way it ties into #MeToo. Where I think Glamour’s editor slipped is putting it down to “mommy sleuths” because there is a ton of content that crosses over with the Bravo-verse online and a fair share of them are not moms, and a fair share of them are not women. But honestly, with the crowd targeting the case, I don’t think any headline would be free from criticism from the “gotcha” content creators.

Here's Millie last week at the New York premiere of The Electric State.
